Lunch time in Downtown Los Angeles! Wanted to try out a new spot. Found Yuko's Kitchen on Yelp, suppose to be good according to the ratings. Only one way to find out! So, as I enter, you instantly notice it is a small place, but very cute and cozy inside. They have a variety of desserts displayed on the counter and an actual Japanese person working at the counter. Just for the folk outside of Los Angeles, many Japanese restaurants here are owned by Koreans and so, Koreans work there. Not a lot of Japanese restaurants here with actual Japanese people working.
It's a sit down restaurant, but you have to order your food at the counter first and then they will bring it out for you.
I was hungry so this is what I ordered. Teriyaki Chicken plate.

Cookie with Green Tea? Not sure if it was Green Tea, tasted like it though.

I give this place a 4/5 stars. This place is perfect for a quick Japanese meal if you are in the area and they also have a flat screen TV. I was able to watch the World Cup with GHA vs USA. Sadly we lost, GHA was too busy fixing there socks, shoes, getting injured, etc... One of the player from GHA decided it was ok to lay down on the ground and act injured, when they took him off the field, he was fine... GHA used the "Waste Time" technique. Woah, sorry I got carried away there, lol!
