Little Tokyo 1

Address: Little Tokyo, Los Angeles
I haven't been to Little Tokyo in a very long time. Last time I was here, it was probably almost 2 years ago. I use come here all the time, until I became familiar with West Los Angeles, and Torrance. If you didn't know, Little Tokyo is located in Downtown Los Angeles, which is far from where I live. West Los Angeles and Torrance are a lot closer to me. I'll blog about those areas when I go there. Today I start you off with Little Tokyo 1, because there will be more later. After my 2010 Japan Trip, I was motivated to do the same style blogging concept here in California. Why not right? California has cool places too! ^_^

Time to eat first at Curry House located in Little Tokyo at the Weller Court. I ordered Keema Curry with extra soft boiled egg. To wash it down, Iced Green Tea (free refills).

Went into Kinokuniya to buy my first Manga. Buying it for studying purposes.

This is the non English version. Yes, I know I'm late... -_-; I'm curious, who else buys Mangas? Which ones do you have and got any recommendations?

Inside Weller Court. Yes, you can see the famous Orochon Ramen here. Order the #2 Special (Super Spicy Ramen) and finish it in 30 minutes, you get your photo taken
and they add your to their wall. When Danny Choo comes here, I should have him do the challenge.

Last time I was here, these artworks were not here yet. You guys know when they put these up?

Time for some grocery shopping, or should I say, shopping for snacks. Notice how the shopping cart here in Marukai is similar to Japan.

No no no, we are not in Japan.

Wow, expensive! $2.08 for Japanese KitKat! How much do you pay in your area that is not Japan?

Looks so good! The 7 Elevens in Japan sell this type of food. I wish the 7 Elevens here too.

Did I go overboard?

This is called the "Friendship Knot".

See that store down there? It's called Jungle and is similar to Mandarake and other Figure Stores in Japan. I was gonna take photos in there, but it's restricted.
They carry a lot of Figmas and Nendoroids and other old collector items. There is really nothing in the Little Tokyo Mall but Jungle...
