Reserved a tour at SK Telecom’s ICT Museum to check out Korea’s leading telecommunications company and what new technologies they are working on. My main interested is the digital living room and their amazing fast mobile internet service, about 80 to 100Mbs, up and down, on mobile!

SK Telecom is South Korea’s largest wireless carrier, it leads the local market with 50.5 percent share as of 2008. Since its creation in 1984, the company has evolved from a first generation analog cellular system, to second generation CDMA, then to the world’s first third-generation synchronized IMT-2000 cellular system. SK Telecom also became the world’s first carrier to commercialize HSDPA in May 2006. SK expanded into the landline market by acquiring second-rated fixed-line operator Hanaro Telecom in February 2008. – Wikipedia
Many would know about SKT because of the League of Legends team, T1. However, did you know they build new technologies other than telecommunications? Come see for yourself. These photo were taken in 2014, when they were promoting Dual LTE. By now, they probably have new projects already in research with fully functional demos. I highly recommend this tour when you’re in South Korea.
