Tokyo Station 東京駅

This is the best place to buy majority of the KitKat flavors of Japan. Some flavors maybe seasonal if you don’t see them here. For those of you that have been sheltered in the world of chocolate, dark chocolate, and only vanilla flavors of KitKat, this place is a whole new world. The store that carries the different flavored KitKats is called Shokoku Gotochi Plaza (諸国ご当地プラザ), and it’s in the Tokyo Station. Priorities!

Tokyo Station (東京駅 Tōkyō-eki?) is a railway station in the Marunouchi business district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, near the Imperial Palace grounds and the Ginza commercial district.

Served by Shinkansen high-speed rail lines, Tokyo Station is the main intercity rail terminal in Tokyo. It is the busiest station in Japan in terms of number of trains per day (over 3,000), and the fifth-busiest in Eastern Japan in terms of passenger throughput.[1] It is also served by many regional commuter lines of Japan Railways, as well as the Tokyo Metro network. Ok, back to actually talking about, Tokyo Station. This place has numerous shops and restaurants you can visit and grab souvenirs. Just as Wikipedia mentioned, it is one of the busiest station in Japan. A lot of people come here to just shop because everything is in one place. You will find merchandise stores from Broadcasting companies like, NHK, TBS, and TV Tokyo, to popular brands like, Ghibli, Rilakkuma, Pokemon, Tomica, Lego, etc… What’s great about the stores here is that, the stores are the brand. There are also ramen and sushi restaurants where the wait is about 1 hour minimum. I didn’t eat here, so I don’t remember the restaurant names. I just came here for the different flavors of KitKat. Oh! There is also a Gundam Cafe here!

If you are planning your trip to Japan, specially if it’s your first time, I high recommend visiting Tokyo Station and spending a few hours. Just double check your funds!
